The Interior

The Darling has two beautiful dining rooms with a variety of seating options, including leather booth and wooden high-top tables. The main dining room features a 14-seat raw bar as well as a central bar.

The Darling is located right off of bustling King Street in Downtown Charleston. Grab a seat at the raw bar to enjoy views of the lively street while local shuckers prepare seafood in front of you.

The Menu


The menu at the Darling has raw, grilled, and fried seafood options, including the must-try Seafood Plateau, pictured above. The Seafood Plateau is a perfect shared starter, so the whole table can try a variety of seafood. Some other menu highlights are The Lobster Roll, Shrimp and Grits, and Creole Shrimp. The Darling also serves Sunday brunch starting at 11:00am. The brunch menu includes The Darling’s renowned Bloody Mary, garnished with a lobster claw and hush puppy. The Southern-inspired brunch menu also includes Crab Cake Benedict, Fried Chicken Biscuit, and Maple Whip Cream French Toast.
