Vivian’s Book Club Series – Lenoir

Vivian’s Book Club Series starts Sunday, May 21, 2023 and will be held monthly until Sunday, October 22, 2023. All events go from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Lenoir. Attendees can expect to hear various authors and each event will start with a cocktail and conversation between Vivian (Owner of Lenoir and PBS star and chef) and the author, followed by a book signing and meet-and-greet with bites and drinks. The events are done in collaboration with Buxton Books, who will be on site to sell additional copies of the book and other titles by each author.

  • Sunday, September 24, 2023: Beth Macy, “Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company That Addicted America,” and executive producer and co-writer on Hulu’s Peabody Award-winning “Dopesick” series. Tickets Cost: $70.

  • Sunday, October 22, 2023: Amy Thielen “Company: The Radically Casual Art of Cooking for Others.” And “The New Midwestern Table” and her memoir, “Give a Girl a Knife.” Thielen also hosted “Heartland Table” on The Food Network. Tickets Cost: $75.
