A Look Inside: Félix

January 18, 2024

Welcome to Félix. Félix is an inviting and chic all-day Parisian restaurant and cocktail bar on Upper King Street in Charleston, SC. Félix serves French-inspired fare for brunch, lunch, and dinner, as well as specialty cocktails, espresso drinks, and desserts. Take a look inside this beautiful Charleston gem.

The Interior

The French metro design of the space was created by owner, Félix Landrum, and his wife, Leslie. When Félix and Leslie first discovered Charleston, they were charmed by the city and its reminiscence of France. It inspired them to bring their Parisian roots to a restaurant in Charleston.

The restaurant is decorated with French artwork, leather seats, fresh flowers, intimate seating options, and a lively bar. The restaurant has 13 tables, a spacious bar, and two larger farm tables for groups. Look for the painting and matchboxes with the restaurant’s mascot, a dapper frog. The concept and painting were created by Felix’s daughter when she was 13, when she decided the restaurant needed a mascot.

The Menu

The menu at Félix was crafted by the owner using his own inspiration and a selection of family recipes that have been passed down, including his grandmother’s French onion soup. Some noteworthy menu items on the lunch and dinner menu are the Raclette Burger, the Croque Monsieur, and the French Onion Soup. Félix also serves a wonderful brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Whether you are looking for a quick before-dinner cocktail or a leisurely Sunday brunch or dinner, Félix checks all the boxes!
