A Look Inside: The Co-Op

April 20, 2023

The Co-Op Frosé and Eatery is a MUST when heading to Sullivan’s Island for a beach day. The Co-Op serves great grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, frosé (frozen rosé), and smoothies. The Co-Op now has seven locations around the Southeast, but the Sullivan’s Island location is where it all began. Charleston Guru stopped by to get a look inside and enjoy some frosé at this popular spot.

The Interior

The Co-Op has a casual, bright interior with photo-worthy murals and a neon frosé sign. There is a walk-up counter to place your order and plenty of indoor seating for when you need to cool off after a day at the beach.

The Exterior

The Co-Op is located on Middle Street on Sullivan’s Island next to A Maker’s Post and Sullivan’s Fish Camp. There is always one of the recognizable bright pink Co-Op Jeeps or golf carts parked out front of the restaurant, so you won’t miss it. And if you want to enjoy your frosé in the sun, there are a few seats outside the shop.

The Menu

The Co-Op menu has hearty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, simple salads, smoothies, and their famous frosé. Dining in and want to try a few flavors of frosé? You can order a frosé flight to try four flavors at once. And you can also always grab a $1 coffee at any Co-Op location.
