Paradiso
Neighborhood: North Charleston
Paradiso is a family-friendly social club in North Charleston. Members have access to exclusive private cabana rentals. The club also includes locker rooms with showers, a bar, towel service, and gyms. And if you are not a member just yet, you can test out the club by purchasing a ResortPass to Paradiso. Day passes start at $50 for adults and are $20 for children.
The Wonderer
Neighborhood: Downtown | NoMo
The Wonderer is an adults-only social club in Downtown Charleston that offers poolside cabanas for rent starting at $300. Cabanas can be rented via ResortPass. Each cabana has a dedicated server with food and drinks available for purchase, and depending on the season, there is a food and beverage minimum for each cabana. If you choose to go the route of becoming a member at The Wonderer, members receive guest passes for the pool area.
The Mills House
Neighborhood: Downtown | Lower King
The historic Mills House Hotel has been in Downtown Charleston for 170 years. It was recently renovated and is now even more luxurious. The Mills House is one of the few hotels in Charleston that allows day-pass visitors to their rooftop pool. Using ResortPass, you can rent a poolside cabana at The Mills House that accommodates up to six people and access to exclusive bar service (be sure to try the frosé)! Cabanas start at $200.
The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
Neighborhood: Mount Pleasant
The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is the only resort of its kind in Mount Pleasant. The Beach Club has a bocce ball court, a movie theater, a spa, cabanas, and fire pits near the resort’s multiple pools. If you are a local who would like to come and enjoy the resort regularly, The Beach Club offers an annual pool membership with access to the pools and amenities. Pool Members also receive complimentary entry to the resort-hosted events like Party at the Point, Oysters on the Point, and exclusive pool member social events. More information can be found here.
The Ryder Hotel
Neighborhood: Downtown | Ansonborough
Charleston’s boutique hotel The Ryder has a beautiful pool, outdoor bar (Little Palm), and The Backyard. The Ryder’s pool is open to all hotel guests, but non-hotel guests can rent a cabana, which is referred to as a Sun Lounger on Resy, to enjoy the pool for two hours. The sun loungers can be rented for a $100 rental fee and a $300 food and beverage minimum.
The Charleston Place
Neighborhood: Downtown | Lower King
The Charleston Place pool is the perfect spot for any time of year! The Charleston Place Hotel has a beautiful pool for hotel and spa guests. The rooftop pool has a retractable glass roof and a hot tub within the clock tower at the hotel. And if you would like a poolside drink or bite to eat, you can head to The Clocktower Terrace (The Charleston Place’s rooftop bar) to grab a signature Spritz or Summer Roll. If you aren’t staying at the hotel but make a reservation at the spa, you can purchase a $75 day pass to enjoy the pool.

Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark is located in North Charleston at Wannamaker County Park. This family-friendly waterpark includes a lazy river, a wave pool, small and large waterslides, a splash pad area for toddlers, and more fun water experiences.
Splash Zone Waterpark

Splash Zone Waterpark is located in James Island and includes a lazy river, slides, a leisurely pool, and a rainforest play structure. Splash Zone offers party packages for your next celebration.
Charleston Aqua Park
Neighborhood: Johns Island
Charleston Aqua Park is a great spot for a company event, birthday celebration, or just a fun activity to cool off in Charleston. Charleston Aqua Park has a large water obstacle course, a ropes course, and summer camps that include wakeboarding.
Public Pools
The city’s public pools are an affordable way to get out of the summer heat in Charleston. Daily pool rates for public pools can be as low as $1.50. Many of these facilities feature fitness centers, basketball courts, and more activities. Some of the public pools also include an adult learn-to-swim program and youth swim teams.
