Welcome to Park & Grove, a charming seasonal eatery nestled in North Central Charleston, right around the corner from the beautiful Hampton Park. At Park & Grove, the culinary team takes pride in crafting their menu items exclusively from locally-sourced, seasonal produce. Karalee Nielsen Fallert, the passionate owner of Park & Grove, is dedicated to promoting access to fresh ingredients that reflect the abundance from local fields, farms, and waters. She not only champions this cause through her restaurants but is also one of the leading visionaries behind The Green Heart Project, which transforms school farms into engaging outdoor classrooms. The Interior

Park & Grove’s cozy interior is thoughtfully designed with intricate lighting, creative art, and captivating wallpaper. The lush exterior is replicated inside, with plants sprinkled throughout the space and tables adorned with flowers. Seating includes booths, large tables, and a small bar area for sipping a seasonal cocktail or coffee.

The Exterior

Surrounded by trees and greenery, Park & Grove’s exterior is one of the restaurant’s most popular attractions. Guests can sit on the main covered patio or at one of the numerous tables with umbrellas. Be sure to stop by during a Patio Party held every Tuesday night from 6:00pm to 9:00pm or one of the many other markets and pop-ups throughout the year.

The Menu

Park & Grove is always creating new fresh menu items based on what ingredients are in season. One dish that is modified throughout the seasons is the Tartine at Park & Grove. Pictured above is the Seasonal Tartine from August 2023, made with tomatoes (sourced from Limehouse Produce), ricotta, locally-grown micro herbs, honey, thyme, balsamic, and grilled bread (sourced from Brown’s Court Bakery).

Park & Grove serves Lunch Monday through Friday and Dinner Monday through Saturday. We highly recommend sitting out on the patio with a seasonal cocktail and ordering the Smash Burger and Farro Salad. Brunch is also served on Saturdays and Sundays. For brunch, the Fried Egg Sandwich and seasonal matcha latte are must-try menu items.

The Details

Park and Grove hosts many community events. Be on the lookout for the upcoming Seasonal Local Vendors Market, which will be held on Wednesdays nights from 5:30pm to 8:30pm starting Wednesday, November 21, 2023 until Wednesday, December 27th, 2023. Guests can browse and shop for items from local vendors and enjoy The Park and Grove outdoor bar while shopping.
