North Charleston St. Patrick’s Day Block Party and Parade
North Charleston
The annual North Charleston St. Patrick’s Day Block Party is Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Park Place East. There will be food trucks, a kids zone, and live music at multiple stages. This event is presented by the Park Circle Business Collective with support from the City of North Charleston.
Catch the Leprechaun 5K
Mount Pleasant
Catch the Leprechaun 5K is Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Blue Sky Endurance at Carolina Park. Tickets to participate in the race are $55, and if you want to skip out on the race, you can pay $12 to attend the after-race party. If you beat the leprechaun to the finish line will receive a prize!
This race is 6 years of age and over.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Prohibition

Charleston’s premier Irish-owned bar, Prohibition will be hosting St. Patrick’s Day Drink Specials from Thursday, March 14, until Sunday, March 17, 2024. On Thursday, March 14 head to Prohibition to get your very own personalized Guinness bottle. And Thursday until Sunday drink specials include, Dublin Delight Shots (Mr. Black, Guinness, Baileys Cold Foam), Lost Irish Whiskey Specials, Baileys Mint Shake served on the rocks, and Jameson Drink Specials.

Saturday, March 16, 2024, and Sunday, March 17, 2024, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Bumpa’s. Throughout the weekend, they’ll offer a special menu featuring classics like Legendary Fries, Scotch Egg, Fish and Chips, and limited edition items including Cottage Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage. In addition to their usual craft cocktails and local brews, they’ll serve green beer from Low Tide Brewing and Irish Breakfast Shots. There will also be live music from Krystal Halvorson, shot girls, Jameson, Slane, and Tullamore D.E.W. representatives, and special appearances from step dancers and bagpipe players! The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 8:00am to 1:00pm at King and Radcliffe Streets in Downtown Charleston. A celebratory Mass will be held at 8:00am at St. Patrick’s Church, and then the Parade proceeds down King to Broad with the conclusion at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
